Calf laughed with dumbbell: Execution
The starting position sees the athlete in an upright position with only one forefoot resting on a step high enough to prevent the heel from touching the ground during dorsiflexion at the ankle level. The knees and hips are extended. In one of the two hands a dumbbell is held, while the other upper limb acts as a stabilizer of the movement, so the open hand is placed next to an immobile object in such a way as not to use it to lift the weight. The supporting leg is stretched and the heel below the step, while the other leg is kept slightly raised so that it does not interfere with the exercise. The execution consists in pushing the heel upwards by performing a complete plantar flexion which, accompanied by the joints at the level of the foot, allow the body to be lifted so that it traces a segment.
