One of the most common is to do the sauna, which with its high temperatures would help burn calories and, consequently, a lose weight.
It is a very common but unsubstantiated belief. The sauna has undoubted benefits: it purifies the skin and relaxes the muscles. The sweat we produce during a sauna, however, does not correspond to weight loss. During a sauna we don't burn calories or lose fat but we expel liquids and mineral salts, which we promptly replenish as soon as we drink water.
To lose weight and keep fit, none sauna it can supplant good nutrition and adequate physical activity.
