Unlike the Struffoli and Krapfen, typical carnival sweets, respectively from Campania and Trentino, i sweet ravioli we find them, for this bizarre party, in the cuisine of different regions of your country, each with its own variant such as the Aosta Valley panzerotti potatoes are used in the mixture, or i Umbrian ravioli stuffed with ricotta.
We offer them to you baked with jam and how and how in our vegan recipes, without the use of products of animal origin.
Ingredients for people 6
- 50g of oil
- 400g of flour
- 100ml of soy milk
- sale
- 60g of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 lemon peel
- ½ tablespoon of cinnamon
For the stuffing
- Jam or Organic Jam to taste
To decorate
- Icing sugar
- Maple syrup
Preparation
Place the flour on a surface and pour the milk, oil, sugar, a pinch of salt, the vanilla bag, the cinnamon, the lemon peel cut into small pieces. We mix everything very well until the dough is compact and smooth and let it rest for at least half an hour.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
We pick up the dough, work it a little longer and roll it out on a surface with a rolling pin, sprinkling it with flour to prevent it from sticking.
Time we cut out the dough forming circles (helping us with glasses or cups the important thing is that they are large enough) with a diameter of at least 10cm. We put a spoonful of jam or jam to taste on the surface and close the half-moon discs.
At this point, sprinkle the pan with a little oil or margarine and place our ravioli on the bottom, spacing them about 2 cm from each other, and cook them for at least 15 minutes.
Once golden, take them out of the oven and place them on a serving dish for desserts and garnish them as desired with the icing sugar and maple syrup.
A variation: try them with chocolate on the outside as a covering but also as a filling!
Buon Appetito and Happy Carnival!
