To get what we want, there are two fundamental ingredients: consistency and responsibility.

We have thousands of reasons to start the new day full of joy and to end it feeling lucky. You just need to follow these 10 steps to get out of bed and go to bed in the evening feeling satisfied with yourself and, therefore, happy.


Start putting them into practice, modifying them and adapting them to your person. Each of us is unique, make your days special and love each other! You will be taking a big step towards the happiness you crave so much.


What are the 10 steps to be happier?

1. When you get up, immediately set a goal to accomplish during the day. The secret of our motivation is to be able to satisfy simple goals that do not require too much effort, to gradually increase the level of what we demand of ourselves.

This process allows us to feel fulfilled for having achieved our goals every day, as well as pushing us to move forward and continue step by step to make all our dreams come true.

2. Feel grateful for each new day you live. Gratitude is the basis of love. If we love life and share this love with those around us, we will create a positive aura that will allow us to feel lucky and happy throughout the day.

It is important to feel grateful for what we have, and don't wait for the moment we lose it to realize how lucky we are. Remember that there are many people who, for various reasons, cannot enjoy everything we have. Let's learn to be grateful!



3. Make a list of what you like. A good exercise to start the day is to make a mental list of what we like about us: things that make us happy, the goals we have achieved, the relationships that make us feel fulfilled ... Anything that fills us with happiness as soon as we start the day.

We invite you to give it a try! Sounds silly, but if you concentrate and become aware of it for a few minutes, you will realize an infinite number of positive elements that you have around you and that you may not have noticed.

4. Listen to your favorite songs. Music is one of the best tools to fill us with positivity. Play your favorite songs while having breakfast, or even in the evening before falling asleep. You can use it as a time to meditate. It can be very useful before going to sleep, to disconnect the mind.

Music stimulates us to generate positive thoughts, regardless of the activity or exercise we are doing.

5. Do an activity that will comfort you or dedicate a kind gesture to someone during the day. There is no need for something too strenuous. A "good day", a "how is your day going?" or a “thank you” said in a positive and truly interested way can brighten up anyone's morning.

And do you know what is best? The expression of happiness of the recipient of these words of affection as you say them. That simple moment will cheer you up in the morning, afternoon and evening. Try it!


6. Meditate as soon as you wake up, it will allow you to eliminate problems and worries, helping you to project the most positive wishes for the new day. You will feel calmer.

Meditating before bed will also help you get to sleep and improve the quality of your rest.


7. Before going to sleep, remember all the positive things of the day. This is an excellent exercise to make your rest more positive and, consequently, to make the beginning of the next day see you full of happiness: before falling asleep, think about all the good and useful actions you have done during the day.


The good times and positive situations lived next to the people you love will also help you to have peaceful dreams.

8. Become friends with physical activity. We all know that sport is essential if we are to enjoy good health and have a healthy life. It also allows us to release more endorphins, which help us feel cheerful and improve our mood.

Do a sporting activity or even just a short walk every day. You will be able to release the accumulated energy and rest better.

9. Go to sleep and get up on time. If you do not want to get up stressed and anxious, it is important to be calm in carrying out all the daily activities.

Doing things in a hurry puts us in a bad mood and, probably, this negative emotion will remain throughout the day. Doing things in a relaxed way will allow you to enjoy all your personal activities and reserve the moments of tranquility necessary for our physical and mental well-being.


10. Do some stretching to stretch your body when you wake up: helps to relax the muscles, generating a feeling of pleasure and tranquility before starting the day.

These are all very simple tips and yet, if you include them in your daily activities, we are sure they will increase your daily happiness, making you feel more serene and free. To do this, it is important to be consistent and responsible, and try to adapt these suggestions to our person. In a few days you will see that your life will make a qualitative leap!
