There is no group of wise women and no group of foolish women. All women, all human beings, in reality, have the seed of wisdom within them. Some listen to this rumor, others prefer to turn a deaf ear.
We attribute the adjective "wise" to those women who have managed to overcome the prejudices and false beliefs that revolve around the female gender. Many companies believe that they have given a more relevant role to women, in reality we know that it is a process that has not yet been completed and that still requires a lot of effort and commitment. Unfortunately, women all over the world continue to face realities of indifference and discrimination.
There are many qualities that define wise women. Today we will mention five of the most important. These are complex characteristics that are reached only when the mind and heart have gone through a healthy process of evolution. Here are the characteristics of wise women:
Gender solidarity, a virtue of women who value themselves
Envy is an evil flower that grows easily in the soil of the female world. Wise women are aware of this, because they have pondered this reality for a long time. They also know that these prejudices and criticisms among women are only a reflection of a feeling of inferiority.
Wise women understand that criticizing other women does not make them better. Quite the contrary. For this reason, they rejoice in the successes of their friends and avoid at all costs the silly conversations based on criticism as stones to stone the appearance of others.
Affective independence: acting with conviction
Independence is not about having your own money to spend or living self-reliant without needing anyone. Independence doesn't even have to do with living alone or without relationships, because none of them matter.
Independence is reflected above all in the ability to have one's own convictions and to be consistent, regardless of the opinion of others. Wise women can connect with themselves and follow their desires, knowing that they are different from those of others, but just as legitimate.
A sense of humor, a sign of well-being
A distinctive feature of women's wisdom is their sense of humor. Anyone who has lived long enough knows that laughter and irony are the best response to life's vicissitudes. In the end, most of the situations we live in have no solution and it is in these moments that laughter helps to accept the inevitable.
A sense of humor colors any moment. Wise women understand that laughing is an act of liberation. For this reason, they know how to do it. They don't go in search of someone who amuses them,they have learned to find the playful side of each situation for themselves.
Realism, when they say goodbye to fairy tales
Almost all women have been raised to become eternal and incurable romantics. Very often, even the smartest women have a longing for perfect loves and happy endings. Others, on the other hand, give up romantic dreams with a certain bitterness.
Women who have become wise think differently. They certainly went through a time when they had to say goodbye to certain fantasies that caused nothing but frustration. They understood that the reality of a couple is another dimension of life and not a magical revelation that changes everything forever. They love their partner, as they are, and they don't hold him responsible for their happiness. Paradoxically they are happier this way.
Take care of yourself to conquer yourself
There is a difference between self-care and vanity. The first dimension has to do with protecting one's integrity, one's personal well-being, one's health. Of course, this dimension also involves appearance. Feeling at ease with yourself. In other words, it is not others who tell you how you should see yourself, it is you who decide.
Vanity, on the other hand, belongs to those who want to please the gaze of others. It is a characteristic of women who seek the approval of others. They need to be considered beautiful and to do so they are capable of anything, even living uncomfortable situations or putting their lives at risk. Their concept of beauty is that of magazines, ads, the market.
The traits that define wise women have one thing in common: self-love. It's easy to say, but in order to build true self-esteem, you have to overcome a lot of prejudices and a lot of fantasies. It is worth the effort because in the end the reward is a freer and fuller life.
