Anyone who has a dog in their life has a real treasure. This is a phrase that will surprise very few, especially if you know the sweet company of these four-legged angels and have often surrounded yourself with the magic of these incredible animals.
Dogs are able to give intense and truly unique affection. They become part of our family, they are eternal children of incredible wisdom and immense emotional intelligence. They end up becoming the greatest experts on our habits, our feelings and our thoughts. They are the ones who know better, and deserve more, our smiles.
A glance is enough for them to decipher our state of mind, they accompany us, make us have fun and make us feel special, unique and fundamental. So, with those property rules all of them (they have a right to everything) and their pleading eyes get from us what we promised never to give (like, for example, sleeping in our bed).
Dog rules for their owner
When living with a dog, some rules are indisputable. That's right, we can say that our animals educate us, tame us or train us, however you want to define it. They are the ones who establish the principles of coexistence and the "battle" for their rights ends up becoming a simple, tender and fun fight.
Thus, we cannot help but smile when we track them down with their surprising rules of cute dictators of the house. Let's see some of them:
Rule n ° 1: You have to make me try whatever you eat.
Rule n ° 2: You can never, under any circumstances, call me to lock me in the bathroom.
Rule n ° 3: You can never go to the bathroom alone.
Rule n ° 4: You can't tell me to shut up when I bark, I have my reasons. Something is happening out there!
Rule n ° 5: I can fall asleep in any corner of the house and preferably where I am most in your way.
Rule n ° 6: You cannot enter the house wearing the smell of other dogs and think that there will be no consequences.
Rule n ° 7: You have to let me out every time I ask, even if I just got back. After all, I have to make sure I smelled everything right.
Rule n ° 8: You are allowed to sleep in bed, but you don't need to move me. The best thing is that you put yourself in a corner and don't bother me.
Rule n ° 9: If it falls on the floor it's MINE! I'll look at you badly if you step forward and don't let me pick it up.
Rule n ° 10: Don't think you can leave a room without me.
The emotional richness of sharing one's life with an animal
Whether it's a dog, a cat or a rabbit, sharing your life with an animal is a real blessing., because it teaches us to be respectful, to love and to organize our life in a different way. There are many people who think that having a pet is limiting because, for example, they cannot take it everywhere when they go on vacation and there are many other needs to consider.
However, anyone who has a dog or any other animal considers it part of the family and their love makes up for all those “little inconveniences”. It is true that if we didn't share our life with them, our wallet would be a little less empty, but our hearts wouldn't be as full.
What animals give us emotionally and physically represents a huge treasure that cannot be compared to all the gold in the world. For this reason, learning what it means to have an animal, understanding how to love it and allow it to complete our family is an opportunity that, in life, no one should miss.
Of course, however, there is always a need for awareness and respect, because, as all animal lovers know, caring for and loving a four-legged friend is a responsibility that cannot be ignored and which offers us the opportunity to acquire great knowledge in different areas of life.
Because, after all, the greatest wealth that is given to us by their company is the emotional one, which cannot be compared to anything and which makes us incredibly happy. This is our greatest treasure.
