Our mind, our thoughts, have much more power than we imagine. The beliefs we have can limit us or push us to achieve our goals. To a large extent, they shape our reality. We must therefore learn the right mental strategy to get what you want.

We are not talking about magic, but intention. Intention is powerful because it helps us focus and invest all our energies in achieving our goals.

The firm belief that we can achieve a goal gives us the right motivation to act. If we have a goal, we use the mind as an ally rather than an enemy.

Mental strategy to make your dreams come true

As children they tell us that if we want something strongly, we will get it. This is how we express our wishes when we blow out the candles on the birthday cake, when we pass under a bridge or just before going to bed. As we grow, we begin to acquire limiting beliefs that pull us away from this hope and optimism.

Expressing wishes and trusting that they will come true seems like a utopia, a child's illusion, an excess of imagination. However, this is not entirely true. When we believe in something, we create it. What lives and remains in our mind often ends up manifesting itself in our tangible reality.

It is not about naivety, but knowing how personal beliefs and the power they acquire work. It is clear that first of all we must contribute with common sense: no matter how much we believe we can fly, we will continue to be governed by the laws of physics.

If we jump off a roof, we will hit the ground. However, there are many other aspects of life where mental strategy plays an important role.

Limiting beliefs

The clearest example is found from the negative point of view, since it is the one we all experience most commonly. If a person firmly believes that he cannot do something, he most likely will not do it.

First, because he will give up the battle before he even tries. The opportunity to try to work for this will not be given. But secondly, because the limiting belief will boycott all attempts to do so.

Let's take an example. If I go to a party, where I don't know anyone, with the conviction of not being able to make friends, I certainly won't. Maybe because I won't dare to approach someone and start a conversation. But even if I overcome the fear and try, my low self-esteem will lead to poor social benefits.

The high anxiety that I will experience will lead me to speak erratically, in an excessively low tone, without fluency and without making eye contact.

I will not be able to follow conversations properly and eventually the interaction will be a failure. My belief was satisfied.

Mental Strategy: You can get what you want, but you have to believe it

Fortunately, the process also works in reverse. If you are convinced you are reaching a goal, the chances of success multiply exponentially. Our actions aim to create the reality that exists in our mind. Where we put our mental energy, we put our ability to create.

So if I want to have a restaurant and am confident of achieving it, I will focus my energies consistently on this goal.

More or less directly, this fact will guide me to take the appropriate actions to achieve it. I will have the motivation to train, develop and improve my skills. I will inquire and be aware of opportunities.

I will work on it with passion, dedication and perseverance. In the end, my goal will have manifested, thanks to the fact that I have invested my mental energy directly and constantly in my desire. Thanks to the fact that I firmly believed and without limits that I would make it.

Exercise

It is also essential to avoid leading a life that is too sedentary. Exercise activates our body, improves blood flow and facilitates oxygenation of the body. It is best to train on a daily basis or at least 3-4 days a week.

Get adequate sleep

To strengthen the mind, it is essential rest between 7 and 8 hours. Night sleep is necessary for the regeneration of the body and for the optimal functioning of the whole body. Additionally, the brain needs to be rested to be in top shape and energized.

Conclusions

It is possible to achieve one's goals if we exploit the mind in the right way. Let's identify all the thoughts that limit us and turn them off. Let's get used to keeping a clear focus on our intentions.

We frequently visualize our desires and welcome the emotions that arise when we perceive them as a reality. When the mind believes that something can be accomplished, it will lead us to it.
