uhmm "Being lazy"…recently a child of only 4 years he said to me and other adults "Let's go and lie down on the bed for a few minutes". As you know, a 4 year old can have more power than four adults together, so we got together to… do nothing, just enjoy the moment.

sometimes someone or something has to give a "call waiting" and make you understand that the hurry that we have in life it is useless, it does not make us happier, nor does it make us achieve more. Isn't it much more rewarding to spend a few minutes with loved ones without doing anything?

This "dolce far niente" that this child taught me is one more than good therapy to eliminate stress that accompanies us, often without realizing it, in such daily actions as running from one side to the other or to the bus we are missing, waking up jumping out of bed or eating in a hurry because we have to get back to work.

Why not leave a moment to ourselves and enjoy "doing nothing".?Log out every day for a few minutes ... from the daily grind, from worries, from the hustle and bustle. It really makes sense when the only thing you are getting is to have a dull face, a racing heart and finish the day as one withered plant?

When we rest, the right hemisphere of our brain is activated, the one that controls imagination, creativity and fun; and you want to miss it? Our right side of the brain is nothing short of brilliant.

We practice "The sweet doing nothing"

-Lie on the bed stop!

-Go to the park, lie down on the grass and enjoy the sun, the smell of wet grass and the chirping of birds.

- Learn to meditate. Meditating is as simple as leaving our mind blank and not thinking about anything while taking a deep breath. Numerous studies have shown that the habitual practice of meditation is able to change our brain structure, making it stronger in the face of depression, stress or anxiety.

- Forget the "I should do", no! now what you are doing is what you have to do: "doing nothing".

- Really enjoy your holidays. Turn off your cell phone, cook less, do not make discussions that lead to nothing. Holidays and the heat are for rest every day.

- Sleep like never. At the weekend, allow yourself to sleep more than usual if your body asks for it. Don't see it as laziness, but as a wonderful gift for body and mind.

Remember that you take care of yourself, love each other, pamper yourself and do not let anything or anyone rob you of health or sleep. Enjoy this delicious “dolce far niente”.
