Living is not just about existing and satisfying our basic needs. Living implies rejoicing, crying, loving, having a vital purpose. It was demonstrated that the human being needs activity, but, above all, a goal that it's important enough to him to make him feel worthy of being part of this mysterious universe.


Not being clear about our goal can make us lose interest in almost everything, until we reach a point where life seems to us to have no meaning. That's when the real problem arises. In reality, life has the meaning we want to give it, but for it we need to get moving and act in favor of our goals.

Feeling lost, without knowing why we want to live is a journey with a single companion: sadness. A sadness that is capable of robbing us of the necessary strength to undertake new actions, new paths.


Finding our vital sense

Each of us has a vital sense. For some, it is rejoicing in a job well done; for others, it is children or family; for still others, it may be helping other people.

In any case, the important thing is to have it very clear and when you know it, start acting according to it. It is useless to know that something moves me inside us and to feel a great interest in it if we do not carry out the actions necessary to achieve goals related to our goal.

To find your vital purpose, ask yourself if what you are doing now brings you closer to where you would like to be in a few years, that is, if in five years you want to continue to keep what you have today in your hands. You can also take a look at the past, specifically your childhood, and remember what you were passionate about then.



A pinch of realism is also needed. If it is no longer feasible to make a dream we had in the past come true, it is good to live the process of "mourning" and finally adapt to the situation, in addition to look for alternatives that still allow us to be able to live with meaning.

The key is to enjoy what we accomplish and which, in turn, allows us to overcome ourselves, discover new experiences and increase our confidence and self-esteem. Therefore, even if we don't feel like it, we have to put one foot in front of the other, many times ignoring how we feel at that moment.


Keep walking to live

As we have said, the essential key to being able to continue in this world, with the feeling of living the life we ​​deserve, is to have a “why” and a “for what purpose”.

They lack this sense of which we have spoken to you so far, because they have not yet found it or because, despite having it very clear, sadness prevents them from getting up and acting. Negative thoughts and irrational beliefs also play an important role. It is very difficult to get up and take the first step if we see everything black.


Thoughts determine our emotions and, in turn, our way of behaving. It is therefore necessary to question ourselves about them and, if necessary, replace them with more rational ones, having faith in the latter.
