Without the mistakes of the past, the wisdom of the present would not exist

There you are, again worrying and regretting something that happened or you did. The speech is always the same, tedious and repetitive, you blame yourself for the mistakes you have made or the decisions you have not made. The images constantly invade your mind, the words you have spoken are the echo that never leaves you, the feelings are a limiting pressure. In the meantime, the minutes go by without you realizing it, without your appreciation. "Perhaps, if I had told him what I felt, we would not have moved away", "If I had opted for the other choice, now I would not be in this situation", "I should have taken that course at the time, I don't have it now and it's a prerequisite for getting where I want"," Why did I never tell him that it bothered me that he never asked me how I was? "...

Thus, continually complaining and brooding can become a sort of infinite spiral, you know when it begins, but it is impossible to establish its end because, in fact, it does not have it. You can cry on yourself as much as you want, destroy yourself little by little if that's what you want, but that's not what your inner self is really asking of you.. Stop for a moment to think: why are you doing this? Where do all these complaints and this mental chaos that you feel lead you?? Think about the purpose and not the reason that dictates your attitudes. If you are honest with yourself and answer these questions, you will discover more than you think. You can find your hidden need. At this point, sink into this question: is it any use to repent of your mistakes? Do you really believe they are just mistakes? Before continuing with this guilt-filled victim attitude, think about one thing: it was not a matter of mistakes, but of opportunity. Think about it, how much you can learn from past mistakes?

It's just a matter of wanting to move forward and grow, instead of staying still and trapped as if a chain on your ankles anchors you to your past.. You can also try it right away if you want. Pick one of your mistakes, think about it and think: what can you learn from that situation or experience?

Discover the opportunity behind the mistake.

Maybe you have already done so and you haven't even realized it. Everything you are today is the result of what you have and haven't done. Of your successes, but also of your failures. And perhaps more of failures than successes. Think about everything you have done up to now, all your life up to now, for sure you will have many things that will make you feel proud. And is it not thanks to the difficulties and what they have taught you that you have arrived where you are now? We invite you to reflect and respond.

Listen to yourselves, because what you say is a message addressed to yourself. We are not just talking about successes, dreams and goals, but about you, your qualities, your nuances, your way of being, your essence. Do you think you have nothing to do with your mistakes? Everything you have experienced, everything you have felt, thought and done has repercussions, but it also affects your inner self. It is up to you to decide how to use your experience, whether to squeeze it, to use all the juice, or to stay with the most porous and dry parts.. Neglect mistakes or immerse yourself completely and find the wisdom that accompanies them.

Mistakes are a way to learn.

Every fact or event, every thought and every sentiment expressed has had a series of consequences in your life. The important thing is to be aware that the person you are today is the result of what has or has not happened in the past.. And that if you erase all your mistakes, all the good things you have learned will also go away. Just delete or limit an anecdote from the past and you would no longer be the same person you are today. Instead of wasting your time worrying about things you might have said or done differently, try to bring out the best in every situation, every moment, every second..
